Our warranty, in plain words
We don't ask you to trust us — we tell you exactly what's covered, what isn't, and how to get help if something goes wrong.
This is separate from returns. We can't accept returns on a hygiene product with direct body contact. But a motor that fails is a different matter, and that's what this covers.
1. What's covered
Your Rimavia comes with a 6-month warranty on the pump motor, covering manufacturing defects. The 6 months start from the date your order was delivered — that date is in our records, so there's nothing for you to keep or look up.
The warranty applies to units bought directly from Rimavia. Your order number is all the proof we need.
2. What's not covered
To be upfront about the limits:
- Silicone parts — flange, milk collector, diaphragm and duckbill valve. These wear out with normal use, so they're consumables. Spares are inexpensive and always in stock.
- Accidental damage — drops, knocks, and the like.
- Water damage from improper cleaning, or from submerging the motor unit.
- Unauthorised opening or repair — see the note below.
- Normal battery decline — like any rechargeable device, capacity slowly drops over time.
Please note: opening the pump or removing the motor housing yourself voids the warranty.
3. How to make a claim
- Message us at [CONTACT].
- Send your order number.
- Send a photo or short video showing the problem.
We reply within 24 hours. If we need the unit sent back to us for a confirmed motor defect, we cover the return shipping. We're not going to charge you to send back something that failed.
4. What happens next
We'll repair it, replace it, or send you the spare part — whichever gets you pumping again fastest. Usually that's a part, and usually within the same week.
If we replace your pump, the original 6 months continue from your first delivery date. A replacement doesn't restart the clock.
5. Need a spare part?
Silicone parts are inexpensive and we keep them in stock. Just contact us and we'll sort you out.
